Hey everyone! It's been about a decade since I last built a PC right before starting high school, and I'm totally out of the loop with current hardware and prices. I'd love to get some opinions on my parts list to see if I'm on the right track or if I missed anything crucial.
Most of the time I plan to use this for gaming, but I also need an NVIDIA GPU for my work in 3D modeling and video editing, so I can't change that part out. I'm particularly unsure about the Zotac brand's reliability for the GPU. I want to know if my CPU might bottleneck performance.
Currently, I'm using a 1080p monitor, but I'm looking to possibly upgrade to 1440p or even 4K down the line, if the build can support it. My budget is around $2000 (not including the monitor upgrade), but I'm willing to spend a bit more for a solid build that'll last another decade. I also need built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth if possible.
Here's my parts list:
- **CPU:** AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 4.2 GHz 8-Core Processor - $391.10
- **CPU Cooler:** Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE - $35.90
- **Motherboard:** Asus PRIME B650-PLUS WIFI - $149.99
- **Memory:** G.Skill Ripjaws S5 64 GB (2 x 32 GB) DDR5-6000 CL36 - $144.99
- **Storage:** Western Digital Black SN770 2 TB NVME SSD - $124.99
- **Video Card:** Zotac GAMING SOLID CORE GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16 GB - $837.98
- **Case:** Montech XR ATX Mid Tower - $69.39
- **Power Supply:** Corsair RM850x 850 W Fully Modular - $134.99
**Total:** $1889.33 (includes shipping, taxes, etc.)
Would love to know your thoughts!

Hey! Your build looks solid overall! I wouldn't worry too much about bottlenecks with the Ryzen 7 7800X3D—it's a fantastic gaming CPU right now. Just consider getting CL30 RAM if you can, as it'll perform better with Ryzen. But honestly, what you have should last you quite a while!
Thanks for the reassurance! I’m glad to hear the CPU is good. I’ll look into the CL30 RAM as well!
