Hey everyone! I'm diving into the world of PC building for the first time and could really use some advice on my parts list before I finalize everything. I've been researching for about a month and feel like I've got a solid build in mind, but I want to double-check everything. My target is a budget gaming PC that can handle 1440p games. I've pushed my budget to around $1200 USD, which includes not just the PC but also a monitor, keyboard, and mouse, aiming for the PC itself to be about $1,000 USD or so. I'm located in Malaysia, in case that impacts availability or pricing. I've already verified compatibility using PC Part Picker and the product websites, but I'd appreciate any insights or feedback on what I've selected! Here's my parts list:
**Motherboard:** MSI B650M Gaming+ Wifi
**CPU:** AMD Ryzen 5 7500F
**GPU:** Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB (Gigabyte / Pulse)
**CPU Cooler:** Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE
**RAM:** Acer Predator Pallas II DDR5 6000MHz 16GB*2 CL30
**SSD:** ADATA Legend 900 1TB SSD
**PSU:** Cooler Master MWE Gold V3 650W
**Case:** 1st Player Black Sir B-2 (3 fans included)
**Monitor:** GIGABYTE GS27QA 27" SS IPS QHD 1440P
With these components, I'm looking at a total cost of about $1,100 USD. I'll mostly be playing some lighter games like Dota 2 and Terraria, but I've got a PS5 for the more demanding AAA titles, so I'm not too worried about those for this build. Any suggestions or warnings about my choices? Thanks in advance!

Consider upgrading your PSU for future-proofing. Check your motherboard's VRM configuration to see if it’ll work well with future Ryzen upgrades too. Also, make sure the case has good airflow for potential future GPU upgrades.
Your build looks great overall! If you can, consider the Ryzen 7 7700 instead of the 7500F if the price difference isn't too crazy like $100. It should give you a nice performance boost.
I’d recommend going for a case that allows more clearance. It’s not just about the CPU cooler height; you also want to ensure the GPU can fit comfortably without any issues.
Fair point! The GPU clearance is listed at 285mm, and my GPU is 240mm, so hopefully that’s enough. Thanks for the input!

I found the 7700 available, but it's about $100 more, so I might stick with the 7500F for now. Thanks for the suggestion!
