Hey everyone! I'm in my first year of studying computer science, and I'm feeling really overwhelmed as I'm new to Java and programming in general. I'm currently juggling eight courses, which makes it even tougher for me to keep up. My goal isn't just to pass my classes; I genuinely want to understand Java and enjoy the learning process. I've tried watching some YouTube tutorials, but unfortunately, they haven't helped me grasp the basics or learn how to apply them effectively.
I'm reaching out for any tips or resources that could guide me in learning Java as a beginner, especially for practicing and problem-solving. Any advice would be really appreciated! Thanks a ton!

What exactly are you struggling with? It might help to share specific coding problems you're facing. How many lines of Java code have you written so far? Identifying the tricky spots could make it easier to tackle your issues!
It sounds like you're feeling a bit lost, but that's totally normal at the start! A good first step is really putting in the time to read your textbook and tackle your homework assignments. Those are foundational for understanding the language.

Thanks for the reply! I think my main issue is with problem-solving. I can follow along with tutorials, but when I try to work on my own, I feel stuck on how to break down problems.
