Should I Be Concerned About My Phone After a Trojan Email?

I received an email warning about a Trojan that supposedly hacks my camera using my own email. I checked my account, and there were no logins, but I changed my password anyway. After running a scan with McAfee, I thought I was in the clear. However, I heard a strange Morse code-like sound when reviewing a couple of my recent videos. This started happening after I updated my iOS. Should I worry about being hacked or is this just a glitch with my iPhone?

Honestly, being on an iPhone makes you less vulnerable to these things. But it’s still good to be cautious. Just keep your phone updated and avoid sketchy apps.

Seems like a typical scam to me! They sometimes include a leaked password to make the threat feel more real. Just restart your phone; that often clears up weird issues. You might also want to ditch McAfee for something like Norton or Bitdefender, which are better alternatives.

What’s wrong with McAfee? Why is it not recommended?

Don’t stress too much! Those emails are often scams designed to scare you. It’s easy to fake an email sender, so chances are, your account is fine. Real hacks on iPhones are super rare unless you’re a high-profile target. Just stay cautious and don’t click on suspicious links.

What about hearing weird sounds in videos? Is that a sign of hacking?
