I'm considering installing Windows 11, but I currently have two drives filled with various files. I came across a video that mentioned installing Windows will wipe the drive it's installed on. Should I just get a new drive for this purpose?

You actually don’t have to wipe the drive to install Windows, but if you can swing it, getting a new one is a smart move! You’ll have a clean slate for your new OS.
Gen 3 NVMe SSDs work well too, especially if you’re looking to save some cash. They should handle Windows 11 just fine!
If your drives are older, it’s worth upgrading. Ideally, you should look for a Gen 4 NVMe SSD. Plus, don’t forget to declutter your existing drives; it’s really not too hard!
I’d definitely say go for it! A 2TB SSD would be a solid choice. It gives you enough space for Windows and other apps without running into storage issues later.

I just thought about it—I'm moving an SSD with Windows already installed to a new PC. Will that cause any problems?
