I'm trying to figure out whether I need to change my DNS settings for both IPv4 and IPv6 on Windows 11. I've noticed that most tutorials only focus on changing IPv4 and leave IPv6 untouched. Is it better to change both or just stick to IPv4?

It really depends on your setup and what you're aiming for. If you're not using any specific features that require IPv6, then changing just the IPv4 DNS should be fine for most home users. But if you want to ensure everything works smoothly with DNS over IPv6, then you should configure both.

Thanks for the clarification! I actually just want a specific DNS for my device, so I'll focus on that for now.
