I'm thinking about upgrading my GPU and I'm leaning towards one of the 9070 models. However, I'm a bit worried about potential performance issues, especially regarding 1% lows in games that are heavy on CPU usage. I'm using a Ryzen 7 5800XT paired with a 1080p 100Hz monitor. I've seen those bottleneck calculators, but I'd rather hear personal experiences. What do you all think? Should I go for the 9070 or the 9070XT?

If you're looking to save some cash, go for the 9070. It should work just fine for 1080p, and you might even want to invest the money you save into a 1440p monitor down the line. The 9070 has enough power for most games at this resolution, plus it's cheaper!
So, are you saying I could just use one 1440p screen for gaming and a 1080p monitor for streaming or Discord? My desk isn’t big enough for dual 1440p.
