I'm from India and looking to build a new PC while sticking to a tight budget. Initially, I was planning to go with an AM4 setup, but I'm curious how much extra the AM5 option would cost and whether it's worth it from a budget perspective. Here are the prices I found:
- AM4 Build: around 70k INR (~810 USD)
- AM5 Build: around 82k INR (~950 USD)

Here's a quick overview of both builds:

**AM4:**
- Processor: AMD RYZEN 5 5600X
- Motherboard: MSI B550M PRO-VDH WIFI
- Graphics Card: ASRock RX 7600 Challenger 8GB
- Power Supply: MSI MAG A650BN 80 Plus Bronze
- Cabinet: NZXT H3 Flow Micro-ATX
- Memory: G.Skill F4-3200C16S-16GVK 16GB DDR4
- Monitor: LG UltraGear 24GS60F-B 24 Inch
- Storage: Crucial P3 Plus (500 GB)

**AM5:**
- Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 7600
- Motherboard: MSI B650M Gaming Plus WIFI
- Graphics Card: Sapphire Pulse Radeon RX 7600 8GB
- Power Supply: MSI MAG A650BN 80 Plus Bronze
- Cabinet: NZXT H3 Flow Micro-ATX
- Memory: Adata AX5U6000C3016G-SLABBK 16GB DDR5
- Monitor: LG UltraGear 24GS60F-B 24 Inch
- Storage: Crucial P3 Plus (500 GB)

I'd love some suggestions on which path to take considering both performance and my budget constraints. Also, any tips for improvement would be appreciated!

If your budget is tight and you're not planning to upgrade the CPU in the future, I'd recommend sticking with the AM4 setup. Just make sure to invest in a better GPU than the RX 7600. Something like the 7700 XT would give you much better performance and it's currently one of the best value options available in India.

Also, don't forget to check out the PSU tier list, as going for a solid power supply is crucial—stick with a C tier PSU or better. For RAM, something like 3600 MT/s CL16 would be a good choice. Overall, you can have a stronger GPU for the cost of the AM5 build, which may not be worth it if you’re focused on immediate performance rather than future upgrades.

I've looked into the 7700 XT too! It's the same price range as the 9060 XT 16GB. Maybe it's best to build for now without worrying too much about future upgrades. I’m going to think about the PSU and RAM options; appreciate the insights!
