Hey everyone! I'm in Argentina and I've found some great deals on used GPUs. There's a 3080 Ti FTW3 for $300 and a 3090 Gaming Trio for $400. I mainly game at 1080p with a 240Hz monitor, and I'm aiming for the highest FPS possible. Is there a significant difference between the two cards that justifies the $100 extra for the 3090, or should I stick with the 3080 Ti? I'm running a 7800X3D CPU, and I'm not too concerned about ray tracing unless it becomes essential. Thanks!

Check this out! According to Tom's Hardware, the performance gap at 1080p Ultra settings between these two GPUs is minimal. The $100 difference doesn't really add up unless you're worried about future-proofing. What GPU are you currently using?
I used to have a 4070 but traded it for a motorcycle. I'm just looking for something affordable to play games during my downtime. From what you said, it seems like the 6900 XT offers better performance than both the 3080 Ti and 3090 at a similar price. Would you recommend that instead?
