I'm looking to buy a new graphics card this weekend and was initially set on getting the ASUS 9070 XT. However, I've heard that Nvidia cards, particularly the 5070 Ti, excel in both gaming and productivity tasks. I do a lot of 3D modeling with Fusion 360 and Blender, so I'm wondering if the 5070 Ti is worth the extra $150 compared to the 9070 XT. I've been using a 4060 Ti prebuilt for the last couple of years and want to make a good choice this time! The ASUS Prime OC 9070 XT is priced at $720, while the PNY 5070 Ti OC is available for $850. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Blender does favor CPUs with more cores for rendering tasks, but if your CPU can handle it, the GPU is key. Nvidia has a great encoder which is beneficial too!
I grabbed the 5070 Ti since I work in tech, and for me, the price difference was natural. Plus, it can be overclocked to give you performance similar to a stock 5080!
The 5070 Ti is a powerhouse. In most games, it outperforms the 9070 XT by a good margin. If you're focusing more on gaming along with your modeling, this is the clear winner.
If you’re planning to use Blender a lot, the 5070 Ti is a significant upgrade—it’s literally twice as fast for rendering. If your PC is a tool for making money, the choice is simple!
I hear you! I can't wait to make money off my hobbies too, but for now, I'll probably go with the 5070 Ti since it sounds like a solid investment.
If you're in the U.S., check out Newegg. You can grab the 5070 Ti for around $810 if you bundle it with another item. It’s a great deal if you’re considering other components.
Got it! Unfortunately, I'm just upgrading the GPU right now, but I might wait and see if better deals pop up soon!
True, as long as you're not counting ray tracing, the 5070 Ti generally pulls ahead in most benchmarks.
