I'm at Micro-center and they've got the 9070 XT priced at $599.99 and the 5070 Ti bundled with a CPU (I'm getting the 9800X3D) for $739.99. From what I've heard, the 5070 Ti generally outperforms the 9070 XT and uses less power. Is that extra $140 worth it?

Wow, a $599 price for the 9070 XT is fantastic! I paid $549 for my 5070, and if the 9070 was that cheap when I got mine, I definitely would’ve gone for that instead.
Honestly, I don’t think the 5070 Ti is worth the extra $140 unless you really need it for productivity tasks. Most gamers seem to agree that when the price difference hits $100 or more, the 9070 XT becomes the better deal. It's good for longer sessions but not that much better for the cost.
If you're looking purely for value, the 9070 XT seems to be the smarter choice. But if you're someone who really values features like DLSS and ray tracing for future games, the 5070 Ti might suit you better in the long run.
Yeah, but keep in mind that most new games are adopting FSR 4 too, so it might balance out.
