I'm currently using an R5 9600X and planning to game at 1440p. My previous RTX 4070 Super started artifacting, so I need a new GPU. Should I go for a new 5070 with 12GB of VRAM or a used 4070 Ti Super with 16GB for about $700? I can't justify the $900+ price for the 5070 right now. I plan to keep this setup for a while, so I'm wondering which card will be more beneficial long-term. The 5070 has features like neural rendering, FP4, and native RTX megageometry, while the 4070 Ti Super offers more VRAM. I typically play games such as Battlefield 6, Red Dead Redemption 2, Helldivers 2, and Cyberpunk 2077. Is the extra cost of the 5070 worth it?

I've got a 5070, and it handles everything I play at 1440p without any VRAM issues. If you're looking for future-proofing, it might be a better investment since it’ll manage upcoming games well too, even with new tech features.
Have you considered the 9070 or 9070 XT? They’re in a similar price range but offer better performance overall. Just a thought!

I appreciate the suggestion! My main concern with the AMD cards is the lack of DLSS and DLSS override. I upgraded from a 6700XT before, and DLSS made such a difference in image quality for me.
