I currently have an RTX 3070 and an R7 9800X3D, paired with an MSI MAG B850 Tomahawk motherboard. I'm looking for feedback on my build and whether upgrading to an RTX 5070 Ti would be a good move.

It's really a personal decision. Are you happy with how your games are running now? If you're enjoying your current performance and don't feel like it's holding you back, you might not need to rush into an upgrade. Also, consider your finances—do you have extra funds for this kind of investment?

I think it's tough to ask for upgrade advice without knowing more about your personal budget or the kinds of games you play. The best time to upgrade is when your system isn't meeting your gaming needs. Ask yourself: Is my current performance acceptable? If yes, maybe hold off unless a specific feature catches your eye. If you do want a boost, is the money available? If so, then go for it!

Your current setup looks good! The RTX 5070 Ti would give you about 85% more performance, plus it comes with double the VRAM and frame generation features. If your budget allows it, I'd say upgrading would definitely be worthwhile.

Your upgrade choice might depend on your gaming habits. What resolution do you usually game at, and what types of games are you playing? Those factors can influence whether the upgrade will be worth it for you.
