I'm considering getting an Arduino kit for my first steps into electricity and to improve my coding skills. The kit I'm looking at can be programmed in C++, and I already know the basics, so I'm not starting completely from scratch. I've also had some electricity classes in school since I'm majoring in programming, but I'm still a beginner. I really want to try out a few projects, and it would be a significant achievement for me. However, I'm unsure if this kit is right for my current level of knowledge in electricity. I'm eager to learn more once I get it and I'm ready to put in the effort!

I've seen a lot of people start with Arduino kits, and they are really user-friendly. It's great that you’re already familiar with some C++. You might also want to check out the Embedded Engineering Roadmap on GitHub for more resources to help guide you along the way!
You’re on the right track! Arduino is one of the simplest ways to get into embedded systems. Don’t hesitate to jump in and start your projects; it’s all part of the learning curve!

Thank you for the encouragement! I'm really excited to start!
