I've been on macOS for years, and it's served me well, but my old computer just can't keep up anymore. I've built a new PC that currently has Windows 11 installed. Since it's less than a week old and I have nothing critical on it yet, I'm torn between installing Fedora now to see if I prefer it over Windows or waiting until next year when I can get a second SSD. The current setup has 1TB of storage. If I decide to proceed and dual boot Windows and Fedora on this SSD, how challenging is it to eventually remove Fedora? Is it risky if I want to either delete it or switch to using independent SSDs for each?

Ultimately, it’s your call! But just a heads up, SSD prices can fluctuate. There have been some crazy price jumps lately, possibly due to all this AI hype. If you see a good deal on an SSD now, it might be worth it to buy one.
It’s not risky at all! To remove Linux, you can just delete the Linux partitions or move everything to the other SSD and then expand Windows to fill up the space. You've got enough storage to easily split it between the two OSes, so go for it!
If you're interested, there's a video that gives a good overview of different Linux distributions. It’s in German, but you can use subtitles: https://youtu.be/iCE6cbcQYZo.
Just so you know, with dual booting, Windows can sometimes take over the boot partition, which might block your access to Fedora. Just keep that in mind!
If you're thinking about it, I'd suggest getting a separate SSD. It makes everything faster and saves you from the hassle of dual booting with Windows.
