I just restored my laptop with a fresh Windows installation on my main SSD, but my friend, who knows a lot about laptops, suggested that I should reinstall it on the NVMe drive instead. Is there a significant difference between the two, and is there a good reason to choose one over the other?

Your friend is correct! NVMe drives are generally faster than standard SSDs. If your SSD is a traditional 2.5" SATA type, the NVMe will give you much better performance, especially for loading the operating system.

I've been confused by all this tech jargon, but it feels great to learn something new. Once you start digging into it, you realize it's not so complicated after all!
