I'm looking to upgrade my gaming PC, which is currently running on an ASrock A320M-HDV motherboard, a Ryzen 3 2200G CPU, and a Nvidia GTX 1050 GPU. I'm planning to switch to an AMD Ryzen 5 5500 CPU and a Windforce OC V2 GeForce RTX 3050 6GB GPU, but it seems like I need to update my BIOS to version 7.3 for the new CPU to work. Do you think my current motherboard will bottleneck my upgrades, or should I just go ahead and update the BIOS? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Your motherboard should be fine for what you're planning. The main limitation is the PCIe 3.0 interface, but since the Ryzen 5500 doesn't support PCIe 4.0, upgrading the motherboard isn’t necessary. Just update the BIOS, and you should be good to go!
