I'm looking to buy a 5080 GPU and I'm torn between two models. Here are the details:
- ASUS TUF 5080 OC for CAD 1659.98 + tax
- PNY ARGB EPIC-X RGB OC 5080 for CAD 1599.99 + tax
I've had a good experience with ASUS since my current card is a TUF, and I've heard that ASUS uses PTM, which people say is superior. However, the PNY is a bit cheaper and has a higher boost clock. I'm seeking advice on which one to go for. Thanks!

I recently switched from an ASUS to a PNY. While I initially bought the ASUS because of its reputation, I found the PNY was significantly cheaper at CAD 1350 on sale, and I was fed up with the RMA stories about ASUS. The PNY has been working great for me, and I’d recommend it for a budget-friendly option!
I'm a fan of TUF myself. I've always had good luck with their cards, so I'd say go for the ASUS if you've liked it in the past!
That's the way I’m leaning since I’ve had a good experience with them.

Yeah, I get that. I've heard mixed reviews about ASUS's RMA service too. The PNY's lower price is really tempting, especially since it has a higher boost clock.
