Hey everyone, I'm currently in my third year of a BTech program and started learning Web Design on FreeCodeCamp, where I've completed the HTML and CSS basics. Now, I'm torn between continuing my learning in web design or switching to a game development tutorial on the same platform. I feel like I started late in this journey, and with all the talk about AI taking over jobs, I'm worried about whether it's worth sticking to manual web design when I could pivot to game development or even machine learning. What do you all think?

What program are you in? By the way, FreeCodeCamp isn’t the only option out there, and those fears about AI replacing jobs are overblown.
Always learn the basics! Even with AI, understanding how things work behind the scenes is invaluable. It gives you the ability to manage and direct AI tools effectively.
Don’t stress too much about AI replacing developers. It’s more likely to enhance how we work. You still need a solid understanding of your tech stack and the tools you use.
Thanks for that! I’ll finish my Full Stack journey and keep everyone updated.
In my experience, I managed an overseas frontend web team. They were cheaper but sometimes the quality wasn't great, so keep that in mind when thinking about job security.
Yeah, but you missed the point that you had to rewrite most of it after six months due to bugs. Quality matters!
Honestly, just try building some web pages to see if you enjoy it! It might help clarify your preferences.
I actually like it, but I also enjoy creating 2D games. I love the feeling of making something tangible, which makes this decision so tough for me.

I'm in my third year of BTech. I found the Scrimba tutorials more engaging, but I'm open to other suggestions!
