I'm considering making the switch to Linux after playing around with it for years. However, I still plan to dual boot since I need Windows for certain games that require anti-cheat measures. The thing is, I struggle with learning from reading, and when I run into issues, I panic because I don't have anyone to ask for help, which often sends me back to Windows. Should I just settle with Windows despite its quirks, or is it worth it to find a support system and switch to Linux?

Consider splitting your usage: game on Windows and use Linux for everything else. Many of us run both systems to meet different needs. Just go with what works best for you—whether that’s sticking to Windows, fully switching to Linux, or using both! Good luck!
You might find it helpful to check out Linux gaming Discords. They're great communities where gamers help each other out, and you can get real-time support when you hit a snag.
I’ve tried some Discords, but I felt they were a bit cliquey, which made it tough for me to engage.

For me, Linux can handle everything I need, but I still find myself dual booting. Sometimes I wonder why boot into Linux when Windows is just there.
