Hey everyone! I hope you're all doing well. I currently have a setup with a DDR5 Intel 13900KF and an NVIDIA 3090 in a Lian Li O11 XL case. I'm thinking about transitioning to a smaller form factor (SFF) and will need to change my motherboard. My question is, should I consider switching to AMD for this new build, or should I stick with my Intel setup since it's been performing really well for my gaming needs?

If your 13900KF is doing a great job for you, I’d say stick with it. No need to switch if it’s serving you well!
Definitely keep the 13900KF if you're happy with its performance. Just make sure you check the availability of mITX motherboards for your CPU. If they’re costly or hard to find, it might be worth looking into an AMD setup instead.
I switched from a 12900K to a 7800X3D while keeping the same RAM, and I noticed a nice bump in average FPS and 1% lows. It really depends on if you're willing to invest in the upgrade—my brother gave me the CPU for free, but the motherboard was still $230. Consider what that upgrade is worth for you!
I'd lean towards AMD, especially for SFF builds. Smaller cases work better with CPUs that consume less power, allowing for the use of compact coolers. High-end Intel CPUs like the 13900KF usually need a big AIO, which won't fit in tight spaces.

That’s true! I picked a DeepCool CH270 case specifically because it fits my Arctic 360mm AIO, so I can keep my setup intact.
