I picked up a 5070 Ti a couple of months ago just as a temporary solution, but I'm considering upgrading to a 5080 Super in the near future. With GPU prices being so unpredictable right now, would it be wise to sell my 5070 Ti and make the jump to a 5080? I recently got an OLED 4K monitor and want to experience 4K gaming at ultra settings with 60+ fps, just like it's meant to be!

Honestly, the upgrade doesn’t seem worth it right now. The performance boost from the 5070 Ti to the 5080 is only around 15%, but the price increase can be about 33%. It's better to hold onto your current card for a bit longer.
I felt the same way a while back when I upgraded to the 3080 and it didn’t satisfy me. Just go straight to the 90 series; it'll change your gaming experience completely! I recently checked on my 4090 while gaming, and it was super quiet and running cool. Spending a bit more on the high-end is totally worth it!
It's worth noting that some games just aren't designed to run at 60 fps in 4K with the current gen cards. We may not be at that level in consumer technology yet, so you might end up frustrated trying to keep up with the new releases.
Have you thought about waiting for the 9090 XT instead? They say it could hit around $1000 and might be a way better investment in the long run.
If I were you, I'd save up for the 5090 instead! Going directly to a higher tier might save you from regrets down the line.

Exactly! Once you dive into the 90 series, you'll stop wondering whether you should upgrade again. It’s a game-changer!
