Hey everyone! I'm looking to upgrade my PC and am considering two graphics cards: the RTX 3070 (8GB) and the RTX 3080 (10GB). The price difference is only $80. I came across some benchmarks suggesting the performance gain is just 10% in most games, but I'm mainly playing at 1440p and really want to future-proof my system. I'm curious if that $80 upgrade would be worth it based on your experiences or insights!

Definitely go for the RTX 3080! The $80 difference is worth it in the long run, especially if you want to future-proof your setup. The performance boost is more significant than just 10% in actual gaming scenarios, often closer to 25-35%. You won't regret this choice!
I have to agree with the others, avoid UserBenchmark. It's often criticized for its accuracy. Between the two cards, the 3080 offers a solid upgrade path. If you're spending the extra $80 now, it will serve you well for more demanding games down the line!
I'll get the 3080 then, thanks for the input!
Thanks for the advice! If not UserBenchmark, what benchmarks should I trust?
