Hey everyone! I built my PC about 3-4 years ago with an Intel i5-11400F and I'm considering upgrading to an i7-11900KF. I've looked around, but given the prices in my country, I'm unsure if this upgrade is worth it. I know I'll need a new cooler since I currently have a Deepcool air cooler, but I'm uncertain if there are other components I need to change. Here's my current setup:
- **Motherboard**: ASUS B560-F ROG Strix WIFI
- **RAM**: 24GB Team XCalibur - Vengeance DDR4 3200MHz
- **GPU**: Gigabyte RTX 3060 Gaming OC 12GB
- **SSD**: Gigabyte M.2 NVMe 256GB
- **HDD**: 1TB WD Blue
- **PSU**: 750W Cooler Master White
Any tips or insights would be super helpful!

If you do decide to upgrade, just remember to reapply thermal paste on the new CPU and ensure your motherboard BIOS is updated for compatibility. Besides that, don't forget the cooler upgrade!
Honestly, upgrading to the i7 might not be worth it for gaming. The performance boost you’d get from the 11900KF compared to your current i5 isn’t significant enough for the price you’re going to pay. Plus, you’ll still have to deal with the cost of a new cooler. It might be better to save that money for a future build instead.
Thanks for your input! That’s helpful to know. Maybe I should look into saving for a full upgrade instead.

I’ll definitely keep that in mind. Thanks for the reminder!
