I recently had my 3060 Ti die on me and decided to get a new RTX 5070. I'm wondering if I should upgrade my CPU to an AM5 setup, or if I can just keep using my current 5600X. Will the 5600X create a bottleneck with the RTX 5070?

Yeah, for newer games like Stalker 2, you might see some bottlenecking with the 5600X. If you plan to play those kinds of titles, an upgrade might be worth considering.
For 1440p gaming, you should be fine. Just know that in 1080p, especially with some demanding titles, the 5600X could hold you back a bit, depending on the game and settings.
It really depends on the games you're playing. Just load up some of your favorites and see how they're performing. Keep an eye on CPU usage versus GPU usage—if the CPU is maxing out while the GPU isn't, then you might have a bottleneck situation. Otherwise, you should be good!
Don't fret too much about bottlenecks! Every system has its limits. Your 5600X handled a 3060 Ti just fine, so it should do well with the 5070 too. Focus on playing your games instead of stressing over hardware terms!
I recently upgraded from a 5600X to a 9700X after getting an RX 9070, and I saw about a 40% boost in my benchmark scores in some games. But remember, that’s just one example and not all games are the same!
Exactly! As long as you can enjoy your games, that's what matters!
