Hey everyone! I'm currently using a system with an RTX 2060 6GB, a Ryzen 7 3700X, and a ROG Strix B450-F Gaming motherboard. I'm looking to get better FPS at higher resolutions and wondering if I should upgrade my components or just invest in a completely new system. My budget is around 1500 to 1700 euros. If it's possible to greatly improve performance with upgrades while keeping most of my build, that would be great too! Thanks for your help!

If you're looking for a significant performance boost, you'll likely need to change most of your setup. You could upgrade the GPU for better gaming performance, and maybe consider the Ryzen 5700X3D for a CPU upgrade. However, for a major improvement, an AM5 build would be necessary. If you can keep your case and PSU, a new build could start at around $800 depending on your desired performance.
Since you're open to spending the full budget on a new build, I recommend that route instead of sticking with your old components. Just make sure to check what parts will fit into your current case. If you have a full-sized ATX motherboard now, you're probably in a standard midi tower, so space shouldn't be an issue! What PSU do you have?

Yes, knowing your PSU is super important to avoid any compatibility issues. That'll help determine what new components you can safely use!
