I've had my gaming PC for about a year and a half now, and I'm starting to think I might have skimped on some of the parts. With ray tracing becoming such a big deal in gaming and Unreal Engine 5 being kind of a mess, I wish I had invested a bit more. Here's what I'm currently running: a Ryzen 5 5600 CPU with a Cooler Master Hyper 212 RGB cooler, an MLLSE Radeon RX 6600M graphics card, 16 GB of DDR4 3200 RAM, MSI B550M Pro-VC WiFi motherboard, and two 1TB Crucial NVME SSDs (one for Windows and one for Linux). I also have a Corsair RM750e power supply. I'm using a 1440p monitor, but I'd consider dropping to 1080p for more demanding games. So, should I upgrade my system now, or is it just the comparison game that's ruining my fun? I'd love to hear thoughts on GPUs because I'm also considering a 32 GB memory upgrade.

What games are you trying to run? Knowing your gaming needs can help in deciding if an upgrade is necessary.
Your Ryzen 5 5600 is still pretty solid! If you’re looking for a GPU, I’d suggest checking out the 9060XT 16GB or even the 5070 if the prices remain low for you. Those would give you a good boost without breaking the bank.
It’s tough looking back, but your GPU is a weak link. I recommend getting a modern 16GB card like the 9060XT 16GB or 9070 XT 16GB now, and maybe upgrade the rest later when Zen 6 drops. With a better GPU, 1440p should be manageable, just don't expect crazy frame rates.
Where are you located? That might affect your options!
Is your upgrade consideration linked to the Borderlands 4 release? Just so you know, that game has been reported to run poorly across the board. If you’re mainly worried about newer games, a 9060XT or 9070 could really help depending on your budget.
