Should I Upgrade My Power Supply for My Gaming PC?

I'm currently upgrading my gaming PC, and I want to know if I should switch out my power supply unit (PSU). My build includes some older mini ITX components, and I recently upgraded from 16GB to 32GB of RAM for better performance. According to the online parts list, my system's estimated wattage is 564W, but I only have a 600W PSU right now. I'm not pushing my system hard, as I'm mainly playing at 1080p. Should I consider upgrading to a 750W PSU while I'm at it? I'm looking for recommendations, ideally around $80 to $100 for a fully modular gold-rated unit.

It’s definitely a good idea to have some extra headroom with your PSU. A 750W or even an 850W PSU would give you plenty of breathing room, especially if you're planning to upgrade further in the future.

You might not need to upgrade unless you plan to get a more powerful GPU. Your current setup likely only draws around 400-450W, so the 600W PSU should be fine. Just keep an eye on your usage; the recommended PSU size for your GPU is already 600W, so you’re not exactly in the danger zone.
