My brother is selling me two 16GB DDR5 6000MHz RAM sticks for $100 (they're Silicon Power RGB). Right now, I have two 8GB DDR5 5200MHz sticks installed in my PC. I get that the extra memory is a plus, but going from 5200MHz to 6000MHz doesn't seem like it would make a huge difference. Plus, I'm concerned about the $100 price. I plan to upgrade my PC down the line, so I'm wondering if it's worth picking them up now or if I should wait and buy different RAM later. Just to add, I have an i5-13400F, and while the max clock speed is supposed to be 4800MHz, I've managed to overclock my RAM to at least show 6000MHz. What do you think?

I don't think it's a good decision. And by the way, can I get your brother's contact? I have a few questions about that RAM. Ha!
Definitely worth it, especially considering current RAM pricing trends. You could even sell your old sticks at some point. Why not take advantage of this while you can?
If you're not interested, I’m all in for that deal! Just saying!
Yeah, RAM prices have gone through the roof, so this deal is pretty awesome. Plus, it seamlessly fits your setup, and you can always upgrade to faster speeds later if needed.
Absolutely, getting those sticks for $100 is a steal! Right now, prices for 32GB kits are sky-high, around $300 or more. If I had that opportunity, I'd jump on it without hesitation.

LOL, just to clarify, he actually got the RAM for $120 before prices shot up!
