I'm considering whether it would be a good move to invest in a 2K monitor and upgrade my RAM to 32GB, especially in terms of gaming performance. Also, I want to know if my CPU is still adequate for gaming at 1080p.

Upgrading to a 2K monitor with your RTX 5070 is definitely reasonable—it’s a solid GPU for 1440p gaming! Regarding the RAM, prices are rising since production is tapering off, so upgrading to 32GB now is a smart choice before costs go up even more.
I’ve noticed that some newer games are starting to require more RAM. I played a recent title and it used about 15.5GB of RAM. I think 32GB would be a great idea to keep your setup future-proof, but I wonder if high CPU usage (85-90%) means the RAM is a bottleneck.
