I'm in the process of building a new PC and I'm considering an upgrade from my current 6800 XT. Right now, I'm debating between the 9070 XT and the 5070 Ti since they seem fairly comparable. I was leaning towards the 5070 Ti, but I've heard about some ongoing driver issues with Nvidia, and I'm wondering if AMD would be the safer choice right now.

The choice really boils down to price. If both cards are priced similarly, the 5070 Ti has the edge with better features like improved DLSS and ray tracing support. But if the 9070 XT is significantly cheaper, it could be the better option. Just keep in mind that both brands have their driver issues, but they tend to get patched over time.
What’s the price difference between the two?
If the prices are similar, the 5070 Ti is definitely the way to go due to its superior DLSS capabilities. However, if the 9070 XT is cheaper, I would recommend it as well – especially since it seems to be facing fewer price hikes right now.
Nvidia recently rolled out a big update that fixed a lot of the 5000 series driver issues. Right now, it really comes down to which card you can grab for closer to MSRP. If both are around $900, I'd say the 5070 Ti is the stronger choice overall.
Honestly, if the 9070 XT is a lot cheaper than the 5070 Ti, I’d pick it. Nvidia's been having some driver headaches lately and their prices seem to be spiking. Just evaluate the bang for your buck!
Right now, there’s only about a $20 difference between the two models I found on Newegg.
