I'm currently using a Sapphire Pulse RX6700 that I got for $115, and it still has about 9 months of warranty left. I'm considering upgrading to either an RX6800 for $264 or an RX6900XT for $428. Both cards are out of warranty. I game on a 2K 100Hz monitor, and I'm wondering if either card is worth the investment or if I should just hold off for a better deal.

Just a heads up, the RX6900XT is only about 20% faster than the RX6800. If you want to save some cash for other components, the RX6800 might be the better option.
It really depends on how much you could sell your RX6700 for. If you could get around $150 for it and then grab the RX6800 for about $250, that's a solid upgrade with a great performance boost. The RX6900XT is faster but doesn't really offer good value for its price in comparison. If you're open to spending more, consider waiting for the new RX9070 series, which is reportedly about 30% faster, but those will start at around $600 unless you find a used one for around $550.
What about the RX9060XT? How does it compare in terms of performance?
That makes sense! Thanks for the insight.
The RX9060XT actually underperforms compared to the RX6800, so it wouldn't be a great choice especially if it costs more.
