I built a PC last year with a 7500F processor and an RX 4060 Ti (8GB) specifically for a 2K monitor. Now, I'm considering selling my 4060 Ti to get a 9060xt with 16GB of VRAM. I'm curious if this upgrade is worth the investment, especially considering the performance boost and the need for more VRAM in recent AAA games. Should I go ahead with the upgrade, or would it be better to stick with my current setup?

For 2K, 8GB might struggle in many games. Upgrading to 16GB could really help with performance, and for just ten bucks, it's totally worth it!
If you're gaming at 2K, I'd definitely say it's a good idea to upgrade. The 16GB VRAM will really help with the latest games that push past that 8GB threshold, especially on medium or low settings. In your case, it sounds like it could make a noticeable difference!
I'd suggest holding off if your current setup is still satisfying. Also, consider using DLSS4 for better performance in games that struggle. Plus, upgrading your 4060 Ti to DLSS4 can really enhance your experience, especially with the new features Nvidia introduced.
Thanks for the advice! I haven't updated to DLSS4 yet, so I'll look into that as well.
The performance boost might not be massive, but having 16GB means you won't hit VRAM limits, which is a big plus. For just $10 more, it seems worth it!
I appreciate it! Just trying to future-proof my rig a bit.
Thanks for the tip! I've noticed some AAA titles almost max out the 8GB even on lower settings, which is why I'm leaning towards the upgrade.
