I just bought Arc Raiders and I'm running into some weird performance issues. After a few matches, the game starts to stutter and drop frames. I tried closing the game, but it wouldn't quit, so I restarted my PC instead. After testing, I've noticed that in the first match post-restart, everything runs smoothly and my CPU usage is around 65%. However, in the next match, my CPU usage jumps to about 88%, but the Arc Raiders process remains at the same level. According to Task Manager, the 'system' task usage is what's increasing instead. Each time I load into a match, the CPU usage for 'system' goes up until my total CPU usage hits 100%, which causes the stuttering and frame drops. My GPU and RAM usage stay stable throughout. Any insights or potential fixes would be really helpful! Here are my specs: Ryzen 9 9900x3d, RTX 5080 16GB, 64GB DDR5 RAM, MSI MAG X870E Tomahawk motherboard.

That's definitely a weird issue you're facing! Have you checked to make sure that your chipset and GPU drivers are fully updated? Sometimes out-of-date drivers can cause performance hiccups. I can look around and see if anyone else has reported similar problems, but trying the updates might be the easiest first step.
Another thing to consider is whether your system might be running low on RAM. If your memory usage is high, it could contribute to stuttering and frame drops too. Make sure to monitor your RAM usage while playing to see if it spikes before the stutter starts.
