Struggling to Apply JavaScript Skills After Bootcamp—Any Tips?

I've recently started a coding bootcamp and have been learning JavaScript for about three weeks now. At first, it was a lot of fun, but as we moved towards building a webpage or app from scratch, I've started to feel overwhelmed, especially since I don't have any coding background. I'm struggling to apply what I've learned. I would love to hear any advice from those who are more experienced. I'm feeling pretty demotivated right now!

Try to build something functional rather than just a website. Use JavaScript in the browser to play around with file uploads and data. There are tons of libraries out there; your task is just to wrap them up, make it pretty, and add features as you go. Getting your hands on some practical applications will really help!

Starting to build real projects can be really tough at first! I remember struggling with simple games like rock-paper-scissors until I got it. The key is repetition—don't worry if you're not getting it right away. The more you practice, the easier it'll become to think of what components you need. Just take it one step at a time, and you'll build up that muscle memory. Good luck, you've got this!

Embrace the challenge! It's what makes coding rewarding. Start small by creating basic components, like a header or a button, and focus on making it look nice with CSS. Once you get comfortable, you'll find the more complex stuff will come much easier.
