Struggling to Get AWS SES Production Access – Any Tips?

I've been hitting a wall with AWS Simple Email Service (SES) while trying to get production access for sending transactional emails like signup verifications and password resets. It's been several days of submitting requests, but I keep getting vague rejections or no response at all. I've made sure to clarify my use case, check compliance, and confirm my domain verification and DKIM setup according to their best practices. Despite all this effort, I'm left in the dark with only boilerplate rejection messages. Have any of you successfully obtained SES production access recently? My case ID is 176191486600170.

I managed to get production access for sending up to 50,000 emails per month. What helped was demonstrating that I'm running a legitimate business, not just a personal account. I shared sample code, examples of the emails I'd be sending, and explained that I use dedicated services for marketing emails, so compliance isn’t a concern for them. They really prefer to deal with developers who can ensure everything is compliant, rather than someone who might just spout spam.

That's a solid point! Their starter limit really seems to be 50k/month, and you're right—those requests are handled manually by folks with actual email experience, which must play a huge role in the approval process.
