Struggling to Install Linux Mint on My HP Envy Laptop

Hey everyone! I'm trying to install Linux Mint on my HP Envy x360 convertible 15m laptop, which is about six years old. I've been at it for a day now and nothing seems to work. I've searched online and watched videos, but I'm still hitting roadblocks. Honestly, I'm starting to doubt my skills here. I'm really eager to switch to Linux because I've heard great things, and I'm not a fan of moving to Windows 11 after the latest updates. Any suggestions on what I might be doing wrong or how to get it working? Thanks in advance!

Thanks for replying! I'm getting an error saying 'EFI file system creation in partition #1 of scsi1 (0, 0, 0) (sda) failed.' It just loops, and even when I try other solutions, it doesn't work and I'm back at square one.
