Struggling with BitTitan’s Sudden No-Go on GCC High Migrations

I've been prepping for a migration of our business from commercial Office 365 to GCC High for about four weeks now. I've got backups of everything—mailboxes, OneDrive, you name it—all set to go. Just as I was getting ready, the OneDrive staging process started failing across the board after initially working just fine. So, I reached out for help, only to find out that BitTitan no longer supports migrating to GCC High. I'm left completely shocked! With a cutover planned in two weeks, this feels like a major blow. I'm really hoping this isn't just BitTitan deciding to drop support without notice and that it might be something on Microsoft's end instead. If anyone has suggestions or alternative solutions—I was considering Veeam backup for 365—please let me know!

Honestly, I’ve never understood the hype around BitTitan. My past experience as an MSP with that software was a nightmare! It wasn’t reliable, and support was really lacking. In contrast, Quest has always been a better choice for me.

Same here! I tried reaching out to Quest for a sales inquiry, but I couldn’t get any response. Makes me worry about their support!

I hear you! BitTitan was great in the early days, but it has dropped in quality since then.

Avepoint Fly is generally recommended for migrations. I’m not totally sure about its compatibility with GCC High, but I’ve heard many good things. Plus, there's a lot of negative feedback about BitTitan, so you might want to look into alternatives.

Avepoint Fly fully supports GCC High and has been way better than BitTitan in my experience. I'd suggest giving it a shot.

Absolutely! We used Avepoint Fly to migrate from GCC to GCC High, and it was seamless.

You might want to consider Quest ODM. It's Microsoft certified for migrations to GCC High, and as far as I know, it’s really the only one that has that certification.

Are they indicating that BitTitan won’t support GCC High as a migration option overall or just your specific issue? If there’s a particular error you’re seeing, it might be worth revisiting permissions or checking for deprecated services. I also like Quest ODM, but I get that it’s late in the game for you.

I had a decent experience migrating to GCC High using Quest. Just to throw it out there, we used a mix of both BitTitan and Sharegate for our migration, where Sharegate handled OneDrive and SharePoint, while BitTitan took care of everything else.
