I'm having some trouble with my TP-Link AV2000 powerline Ethernet adapters. I set them up with my Archery AX21 and I'm using Cat 6 cables, but with my home's wiring from 2007, they just aren't performing as I'd hoped. My speeds are disappointing – I'm getting just 6 Mbps on Ethernet compared to 8 Mbps on my WAP and 17 Mbps on my regular Wi-Fi, where I have an Eero mesh network. The WAP and adapter are only about 10 feet from my PC but I still can't achieve a solid Ethernet connection like I wanted. Does anyone have suggestions to improve this?

I've had mixed results with powerline adapters myself. Honestly, them not working as expected is pretty common! Sometimes they just don't play nice with certain home wiring.
You should know that powerline adapters can be really dependent on your house's electrical system. Even premium models can struggle if the wiring isn’t great. Unfortunately, it might not be much you can do if the circuit is causing issues.
Getting powerline Ethernet to work effectively can feel like a lottery! Try connecting your adapter to its own outlet—no power strips allowed, especially in the US. Also, ensure both adapters are on the same circuit. That could significantly improve your connection.
How do I check if the outlets are on the same circuit? I didn’t find much online except for using professional tools.
