Struggling with Python Course—Need Study Tips!

I'm taking a remote summer course on Python, but I feel like I'm only grasping about 10% of the material from the video lectures. When I work on assignments, I'm heavily reliant on ChatGPT to get through them. Even though I understand my code better after AI helps me, I really want to be able to do this on my own. I have exams coming up in August, and I'm worried I won't pass. What are some effective study methods I can use to really learn Python and not just rely on AI? I feel pretty overwhelmed, especially since I keep hearing Python is supposed to be easy.

You might want to check out the MOOC course from the University of Helsinki called *Python Programming 2025*. It's free, text-based, and super hands-on, which could help you learn better without relying on videos. It really focuses on practical skills, and I think it might be exactly what you need right now. Also, try to solve the problems on your own before asking for help—using AI for answers can hinder your learning process, just like going to the gym and watching someone else lift weights instead of doing it yourself!

Thanks for the suggestion! I’m actually enrolled in a proper university course and I've always done well academically, but I’m struggling with this online format. I'm hoping to pick things up before my exams.
