Struggling with WiFi Issues on Linux Mint After Switching from Windows 11

I'm trying to transition from Windows 11 to Linux Mint, but I'm hitting a wall with my WiFi connection. I attempted this before, a couple of years back, but had to give up because my WiFi wouldn't work then either. I recently gave Zorin a shot, hoping to finally leave Windows behind, but ran into the same connectivity issues—my system can't seem to detect my gateway router. Even after making some BIOS adjustments and looking for solutions online, I still can't get it to work. I've got a Ryzen 5 5600G and a MSI PRO B550M-VC WIFI motherboard, along with other components listed below. I'm using a combined router/modem from Technicolor, model CGM4331COM. My goal is to get everything running smoothly on Linux Mint, but my lack of networking knowledge is making it tough. Any ideas on how I can resolve these WiFi issues?

It would help to post the output of `lspci | grep Network` to identify your WiFi hardware. You mentioned this is the same setup you used before, so seeing the current state could shed light on what’s going on.

WiFi is often more reliable with Intel cards, like the AX210. They're affordable and much easier to replace than some other brands like Mediatek or Realtek. While some drivers exist for those brands, good hardware is crucial for good connectivity.
