Switching from Mac to Windows 11: Why is Resizing Windows So Hard and File Explorer So Slow?

Hey everyone, I'm a long-time Mac user and I've recently made the switch to Windows 11, but I'm facing a couple of frustrating issues: First, resizing windows feels really tricky! It seems like I only have about 2 pixels of wiggle room to get the resize cursor to show up, which means I'm wasting a lot of time just hovering around the corner of the app. Has anyone else dealt with this and found a better way?

Second, file explorer is super slow. When I try to move or delete files, there's a progress window that pops up about 50% of the time, and it takes anywhere from 10 to 30 seconds to complete the action—even for individual files! This has been happening on my old PC and still happens on my new one, so I'm wondering if this is just how Windows operates?

For context, I usually keep my PC turned off regularly, have a couple of apps open at a time, and my SSD is only half full. Here are my specs:
- **OS:** Windows 11 Pro
- **CPU:** Intel Core i9-13900KF, 36MB Intel Smart Cache
- **Motherboard:** MSI MPG Z790 EDGE WIFI
- **GPU:** RTX 4090
- **RAM:** 64GB DDR5
- **Storage:** 2TB SSD

I totally get your frustration with resizing! Even though the window borders look narrow, you actually have more than 2 pixels to work with—around 10 pixels can be used for resizing. Just make sure you’re using a decent mouse and mousepad since that can really make a difference. As for the file explorer lag, have you checked if you have any network drives mapped or external drives plugged in? That could be causing the slowdowns. Just a thought!

Yeah, I've got a network drive, so maybe that’s part of the issue. I’ll definitely have to check it out!
