Hey everyone! We're shifting our MFA authentication for Microsoft customer accounts to rely solely on Microsoft Authenticator for validation. Previously, our support team could use SMS or calls listed in customer profiles to verify their identity and assist customers without bothering them for an Authenticator code. I'm looking for some creative solutions to ensure our support team can continue to provide assistance without being a hassle for the customers. Any suggestions? Thanks a lot!

It's about time to ditch SMS and calls for MFA since they're not super secure anymore. You’re on the right track by moving towards Microsoft Authenticator. In the long run, it’s better to adopt stronger authentication methods like push notifications or token-based systems. It's a step up from no MFA at all!
I definitely hear you. What would you say are the best alternatives to give support the access they need without bugging customers too much?
