Taskbar and Windows Issues After Update

Hey everyone, I need some help. My taskbar is completely unresponsive; the Windows icon won't open, and the search bar just keeps loading. Additionally, I can't access Windows Security or Defender. Recently, I tried updating Windows, but things have gotten worse. Now, it takes about 15 minutes just to start up, and I still can't open settings. At this point, I've been staring at a black screen for 30 minutes and it's not booting. Can anyone offer some advice?

I’ve faced similar issues before. Usually, it happens if my laptop has been running for too long without a restart. Try shutting down your device completely, leave it for a few minutes, then restart it. It often resolves these kinds of problems.

I waited the whole day and restarted it today, but I'm still facing the same issue.

Have you tried unplugging everything except for the power supply? Hold down the power button for 30 seconds, then plug it back in and see if it boots up correctly. Sometimes that helps clear out issues before starting up.

I’ll give that a shot. Just tried it, and it started up, said 'Welcome', but then went back to a black screen.
