Hey everyone! I'm putting together my first gaming PC and would love your input on my current part list. This setup will mainly be for gaming, focusing on older titles and emulation, but I also want to handle some competitive games at decent settings and high framerates with keyboard and mouse, like The Finals, ARC Raiders, Marvel Rivals, and CS2. I've got an old 1080p 144hz IPS monitor that I'll use as a second display, along with a new 1440p monitor from my part list. Here's what I've got so far:

- **CPU:** AMD Ryzen 5 7600X 4.7 GHz 6-Core Processor
- **CPU Cooler:** Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE
- **Motherboard:** Gigabyte B650 EAGLE AX ATX
- **Memory:** Patriot Viper Venom 32 GB DDR5-6000
- **Storage:** Silicon Power UD90 2 TB NVME SSD
- **Video Card:** Sapphire PULSE Radeon RX 9060 XT 16 GB
- **Case:** Montech AIR 903 MAX ATX
- **Power Supply:** Cooler Master MWE GOLD 750 V2
- **Monitor:** Asus ROG Strix XG27ACS 2560 x 1440 180 Hz

Total cost is around £1169.39. Any suggestions for better or cheaper alternatives to enhance this build?

I would recommend checking out the Corsair RM750e for your power supply; it's a bit newer and slightly better, but the price difference isn't huge. Regarding the RX 9060 XT, it's more tuned for 1080p gaming, but it performs decently in 1440p for lighter games, especially if you enable FSR. If you're looking for better 1440p performance, consider upgrading to an RX 9070 or RTX 5070, but keep in mind that those will be more expensive!

Thanks for the feedback! I'll definitely look at the PSU you suggested. You’re right about the GPU; I might go for the 9060 XT and just tweak the settings down for the heavier games. I read that moving from 1080p to 1440p is a noticeable upgrade, so I really want to try it out.

I reworked your list a bit: [Check this out](https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/bHwBpK). I think you’ll find some good alternatives in there!

Nice, I’ll check that out! The monitor looks like a solid deal, I might have to get it. I’ll also need to dive into the motherboard differences to see what might be better. Any thoughts on the GPU you suggested? It's a bit pricier and I can't get Prime delivery, but is it worth it?
