Thoughts on My First PC Build for Gaming Performance

I'm building my first PC, moving up from a laptop, and I need some advice on my setup. I'm focusing on a system with a 9800X3D processor and a 5080 GPU to maximize gaming performance. My goal is to play AAA games in 4K and competitive shooters at 1080p with high 1% lows. I'm buying components in Germany, and I've found some prices that are lower than what's shown on PCPartPicker. I won't be using Bluetooth peripherals since everything I have is wired, and I also use an Ethernet connection. Before I make my purchases, is there anything specific I should consider or change?

You might want to upgrade your RAM to 6000 CL30; it can provide better 1% lows, which is crucial for smooth gameplay. The difference might seem slight, but it can make a noticeable impact in performance.

That sounds interesting! Is the performance difference really worth switching for just a couple of FPS?

Thanks for the suggestion! I'll definitely check that out!

Consider downgrading your PSU from 1000W to 850W. It can be more efficient without compromising safety for your build, especially if you're using a 5080.

I've heard mixed things about PSU ratings. When it comes to reliability, should I go with 1000W for peace of mind?
