I'm putting together a PC as a Christmas present for my 6-year-old, who will mainly be playing games like Roblox, Minecraft, Fortnite, and Farming Simulator 25. I want it to perform well at 1080p or better, ideally with smooth performance and minimal hassle. Everything has been purchased and is still sealed, but before I start opening the boxes, I'd like to get some feedback to avoid any potential problems. Here's what I have:
- **CPU:** AMD Ryzen 5 7600X
- **CPU Cooler:** Thermalright Aqua Elite V3 120mm AIO
- **Motherboard:** Gigabyte B650 AORUS ELITE AX (AM5 / WiFi)
- **RAM:** Kingston FURY Beast 16GB (2x8) DDR5-5600 CL40
- **Storage:** Samsung 990 Pro 1TB NVMe
- **GPU:** ASUS Dual OC RTX 5060 8GB
- **Case:** NZXT H5 Flow RGB (2024)
- **PSU:** Thermaltake Smart BM3 650W 80+ Bronze Semi-modular
I'm particularly looking for advice on a few things: 1) Any compatibility concerns with my parts? 2) Is the 120mm AIO cooler good enough, or should I switch it out for something like an air cooler or a larger 240mm AIO? 3) Any parts that are known for issues that I should consider returning? 4) Also, as a newbie, I'd appreciate any general setup tips, especially for RGB lighting since my son wants all purple lights. I'm hoping to avoid any Christmas morning issues, so any help is greatly appreciated!

For your first build, I'd actually recommend going with an air cooler instead of the AIO. They’re typically more reliable and easier to manage, especially if you're concerned about noise and temps. If you want a solid air cooler around your AIO's price range, try checking out something like the Cooler Master Hyper 212. It's been a reliable choice for many beginner builds.
Everything else looks good! Just double-check the compatibility of your motherboard with the RAM and CPU. Since you're new to building, keep in mind that the RGB setup can usually be managed through software that comes with your motherboard. So no worries!
Do you think RGB works well with all types of games, or is it more for aesthetics?

I got the Hyper 212 and it works wonderfully. It’s super quiet, and easy to install too!
