Thoughts on My New PC Build?

I'm in the process of building a new PC and would love your feedback on my selected components. Here's my current build:
- AMD Ryzen 9 9900X
- CORSAIR iCUE Link Titan 360 RX RGB
- ARCTIC MX-6 thermal paste
- ASUS TUF gaming X870-Plus WiFi AMD AM5 motherboard
- Kingston Fury Beast Black 32 GB 6000MT/s DDR5 RAM
- Samsung 990 EVO Plus SSD 4 TB (x2)
- GIgabyte GeForce RTX 5080 Gaming OC 16G Graphics Card
- Corsair 7000D AIRFLOW Full-Tower ATX case
- CORSAIR RM850e Fully Modular ATX Power Supply

I plan to use this PC for both building AI/ML models and music production. Besides the peripherals like the keyboard, mouse, and monitor, am I missing anything important? Is there something that stands out as a major issue? I've double-checked the compatibility of these parts on PC Part Picker, and everything looks good, but I'm open to insights from your experience. Thanks a lot!

It seems like you might be overspending on some components. For example, the cooler you're considering is quite pricey when you could get a $36 Thermalright Phantom Spirit that performs just as well. Also, most coolers come with thermal paste included, so you probably don’t need to buy the Arctic MX-6 separately.

Have you considered a B850 motherboard instead of the higher-end X870? It could save you money unless you really need features specific to the X870. There are also cheaper RAM options that perform similarly and could help allocate some budget for other upgrades. Lastly, think about whether you need such a large case; there are more compact options available. With the savings, you could potentially upgrade to an RTX 5090 for better performance in your AI/ML projects!

This is exactly the type of feedback I was hoping for! I appreciate your insights and am definitely looking into those alternatives now.
