Thoughts on My New White PC Build?

Hey everyone! I built a PC around 7 years ago featuring a Ryzen 5 2600x and a 1660 super, and it's definitely time for an upgrade. This time, I'm aiming for a sleek white build. Here's what I'm considering:

- **CPU**: Ryzen 5 9600 X
- **GPU**: AMD 7700xt or 7900 GRE (7900 GRE seems to be out of stock, unfortunately)
- **Motherboard**: ROG Strix B-850
- **Case**: NZXT H6 Flow
- **RAM**: 32 GB Silicon Power Storm DDR5
- **Storage**: Klevv 2TB M.2 and a WD Black 1TB for Windows
- **PSU**: Thermaltake 750
- **Cooling**: Thermalright Aqua Elite 360

Do you think this setup will perform well at 1440p and 144Hz? Also, I'm struggling to find a good monitor for it. Any recommendations for a 1440p 144Hz wide monitor? Thanks a lot!

For a monitor, I recommend checking out the 34" Deco Gear Ultra Wide 1440p 180Hz; it’s priced just over $200 and I've had a great experience with it. As for your system, you might consider a less expensive motherboard to save up for a 9070 XT instead of the 7700. Going with FSR 4 instead of FSR 3 is definitely a better choice for performance!

I saw Newegg has a bundle for $824 that includes the white 9070 XT and a 27" 240Hz monitor. Might be worth checking out!

Definitely go for the H7 Flow; it looks better and has improved airflow compared to the H6. It’s also cheaper and still quite stylish!

Interesting, I’ll check out the H7 then! I was kind of attached to the corner panel design of the H6 since ZTT recommended it.

Your setup should handle 1440p just fine! If you're interested, there's an interesting thread in r/buildapcmonitors that could help with monitor recommendations. Are you leaning towards an ultrawide, or would a standard 16:9 be good enough for you?

I’d prefer ultrawide for music production, but I’m open to a bigger 16:9 if it’s over 27 inches. Thanks for pointing me to that thread!
