Thoughts on My PC Build? Any Recommendations?

I'm planning my first PC build in about five years since my PS5 Pro gave out, and I want it to be a high-end setup that's somewhat future-proof. Here's a link to my build: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/LMCsdb. Are there any components you think I should change to avoid overspending or unnecessary features? I'm open to any suggestions! Thanks!

Overall, the specs look solid! One suggestion is to consider upgrading to the 9800x3d. It's a good performance boost for a small increase in cost, giving you better longevity for gaming.

Good point! I was thinking about that too, actually. You've swayed me—I'll make that switch.

Your build might be a bit on the pricey side. Could you share a bit more? Like where you're buying from and your max budget? It's helpful to know what games you're targeting and your preferred setup since you’re in Canada. If it helps, I'm seeing GPUs priced sky-high over there!

Yeah, I realized it's pricey here. I plan to game at 4K on the monitor in my list. Not really into RGB, so thankfully most parts don’t have it. I'll be playing WoW, Hunt Showdown, New World, and some single-player games. My budget aligns pretty well with my list, but I might aim for a 5090 if prices drop.

I get the high prices! A 5090 is wild in Canada right now, I’d suggest keeping an eye on prices before buying.

Your specs are great, but just a heads-up that you're paying more than necessary for RAM and storage due to current market trends. If you can, wait for deals, like Black Friday. Also, you could get a better keyboard and mouse for your budget. Hall effect keyboards are amazing! Consider checking out mechanicalkeyboards.com for better options. For a mouse, I wouldn't recommend Glorious due to quality concerns; maybe explore alternatives on AliExpress. An R1 Pro Max might fit your needs well.

Thanks for the advice! I'll definitely look into that.
